Located in the northeast part of Peru. Trujillo is known as “The City of Eternal Spring” due to its favorable climate. This is also the city where the Chan Chan archaeological area is located; a great adobe city declared “Humanity Heritage site”, as well as the Sun and Moon Huacas, the largest pre-Columbian adobe pyramid in the country. 13 km from Trujillo city is the Huanchaco Resort, a renowned international surfing destination. Huanchaco is famous for the large reed horses used for sailing and fishing since the millenary Mochica and Chimu times. This tourist town is a great place to rest, surf, or simply relax and enjoy the sea.
